you can download the books without bothering installing the program.

the book were carefully selected, and some even repaired. (pdf files.)

fritz install is performed through a batch file designed for windows xp x86 which calls 7zip (which you can download anyway.)

for other windows versions, you might need to install manually if you want fritz. otherwise, just get the books! ;)

the fritz program uses the same (kickazz) theme as chess dot com. engine is powerful enough for 2000+ ELOs.

overall though, online playing is to be preferred to the offline one offered here. enjoy. ;)
